Backyard Beans is now available at GIANT stores across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia – bringing responsibly sourced, USDA Organic coffee to even more homes.

When Matt & Laura Adams, co-owners of Backyard Beans, first started roasting coffee beans on a Weber grill in 2013, getting coffee onto the shelves of a major regional grocery chain wasn’t exactly part of the plan. It started with a simple goal: make really good coffee and share it with people who care.

We are proud to see that vision grow and excited to announce that Backyard Beans is now available at The GIANT Company – across 188 stores throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia.

What this means for our community

For us, growth has always been about reach and not scale for its own sake. More shelves means more households who can grab a bag of freshly roasted, responsibly sourced coffee without having to seek it out. It gives purpose to the farmers we partner with, the supply chains we’ve carefully built, and the team members who show up every day.
