AMBLER, PA (November 17, 2020)Coffee lovers, we’ve got some good news for you! Backyard Beans Coffee Company expanded into Ambler, with its newest cafe nestled on 22 East Butler Avenue. The company boasts locally-roasted coffee, a scratch-made menu, and a focus on community.

What started in 2013 as a backyard hobby for co-owners Matt and Laura Adams—quite literally, as they roasted coffee on their Weber grill—quickly turned into a buzzworthy business that continues to thrive. The company makes a point to exclusively purchase responsibly sourced coffee and roasts it locally in Lansdale. Equally as important is their strong commitment to the community, which they emphasize through their Make a Difference Monday campaign. On the first Monday of each month, Backyard Beans donates 10% of their cafe sales to a local non-profit partner in the area, and will continue this initiative in Ambler.

“We are very much looking forward to working alongside our neighbors in Ambler and contributing to the community here,” said Laura Adams, co-owner of Backyard Beans. “Especially during the pandemic, we’re all working together right now to ensure safety is the highest priority.”

Much like the Lansdale location, the Ambler cafe will offer the same great coffee and scratch-kitchen menu. At Backyard Beans, everything from scones to sandwiches are house made and feature local ingredients.

“We have a scratch-made kitchen, so we focus on menu items that are fresh, locally-grown, and support our community,” said co-owner Matt Adams. “Our menu changes seasonally to reflect this.”

To celebrate the opening of the new Ambler location, the company launched an exclusive coffee—Cafe Ambler! With a clean and balanced profile, it comes from Guatemala, where coffee farmer Otto Higueros pours his heart and soul into it. Otto focuses on community, hospitality, and supporting his neighbors as much as he can—something Backyard Beans strives to do in their own cafes. We love this flavorful coffee, and are looking forward to offering it in Ambler! In addition to the coffee, tea, and food options, you can also grab their flagship Punch in the Face cold brew and Stay Home A-Latte latte jugs to-go at the cafe so you can stock up for a few days at a time.

The cafe is open for limited indoor dining and take-out Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm, and Weekends, 8am - 4pm. Kitchen closes daily at 2pm. Customers can place orders ahead at backyardbeans.com/cafe. Get a free coffee by joining the cafe rewards program, Pollen.
