The company marks this major milestone with their Anniversary Blend and 10 weeks of coffee-themed giveaways.

The summer fun has just begun at Backyard Beans Coffee Company! This June, the coffee company will celebrate its tenth anniversary as a roaster, rolling out its special Anniversary Blend coffee, a 10 Weeks of Giveaways campaign to commemorate this big milestone, and a video interview with owners Matt & Laura Adams reflecting on their past ten years in business.

The company got its start in 2013 in the backyard of founders Matt and Laura Adams, two Lansdale residents who began roasting coffee for fun on their Weber grill. When they noticed their local farmers’ markets didn’t offer any coffee, they decided to sell their own roasts to help bridge the gap. They began by selling their coffee at the Lansdale Farmers Market, and their business took off from there. Now, the company has grown into a community fixture, representing more than just excellent coffee but also connection, impact, and growth. “We’re so fortunate for the amount of support we’ve had over the years, and feeling like we played a part in helping revitalize our town and neighborhood,” said Matt Adams. “It’s been an absolute joy to watch it all evolve into what it is today.”

Not only has Backyard Beans strengthened its local connections, but its relationships within the coffee community have flourished over the years as well. “We started just the two of us, and now we have our whole team and so many people we work with to make everything happen,” says Laura Adams. Strong connections to growers, producers, and importers worldwide ensures the purchase of responsibly sourced coffee beans from hardworking farmers and co-ops. And, their team locally has only continued to flourish, with an outstanding group of coffee focused professionals across their warehouse, cafes, and behind-the-scenes work. “It's been exciting to see where we came from and I'm excited to see what's next,” adds Adams.

To mark this big milestone, the company channeled what it knows best–excellent coffee. Their special Anniversary Blend will be released on June 1 and will be available all summer long for purchase at their cafes or online. Plus, the Backyard Beans cafes will be hosting Happy Hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-3 pm through August 31, with $1 drip coffee and a chance to win a $50 gift card to Wegmans along with their Wegmans coffee line.

To further continue the celebrations, they’ve partnered with a slew of amazing coffee industry brands for their 10 Weeks of Giveaways campaign, kicking off on June 6 and running through August 21. Each week, participants can enter to win coffee gear from Bodum, Chemex, Hario, and more, and more, plus a 12 oz. bag of their Anniversary Blend.

We’ll see you this summer!
